Fruit Kebobs

What You'll Need
2 Red apples
2 Green apples
1 Cup seedless grapes
8 Ounces of soft cheese like Muenster cheese
12 Long thin whole wheat pretzel sticks
1⁄4 Cup lemon juice

Kitchen Tools You'll Need
1 Plastic knife
1 Wooden skewer
1 Large plastic plate or cutting board
1 Medium bowl
4 Small paper plates
4 Large paper plates
Paper Towels

What to Do
1. Fill bowl half full with water. Add lemon juice. Set aside.
2. Rinse fruit under cold water and dry with paper towel.
3. Remove stems. Cut apples into 1 inch pieces and put them in the lemon/water mixture.
4. Cut grapes in half. Set aside.
5. Cut cheese into 1 inch pieces (about 12 pieces). Set aside.
6. Using a skewer, make a hole through the center of each piece of fruit or cheese. Set aside on large plates.
7. Give each child 4 pretzel sticks. Let them thread their own sticks: red apple, cheese, grape, cheese and green apple. Repeat for each pretzel stick.
